People like to mock soccer, but i saw a club this morning fire their coach literally 5 minutes after losing a match. Didn't even make it to the bus. Its because their care about their team and the fans. LSU does not!
When a big club is having a bad year they may have 2-3 coaches. Hell they usually make up excuses to fire winning coaches after 3-4 years.

Woodward hired Jay and Mulkey too. I don’t really have a problem with him. He seems to let his coaches run their programs which I like, but BK ain’t it so he needs to nut up and raise some money

Jay is his one good hire. Mulkey wanted to be here, Scott just had to write a check.

Is there an easier job search than LSU baseball?
What college baseball coach doesn’t want arguably the best program all time and has the highest NIL budget?

Why would a German company with a US headquarters in Oregon pay Penn St’s buyout?

No one is claiming Yoplait is paying $50 million they don’t have to for a coach buyout.
Retard

Adidas makes many billions in revenue every year. $50 million on hand is easy. Their sponsorship of Penn State athletics is an advertisement campaign
Where they are based has frick all to do with anything. They are an international brand with an advertising investment in Penn State athletics. Like I think you just wanted to show that you knew they were German. It’s meaningless

Cool, now tell my why they would pony up $50 million to just give to Penn St for no reason

I don’t know how much simpler to explain. They are advertising through Penn State. They have a direct financial investment in the visibility and positive press of Penn State. Penn State being good means more primetime advertising, more jersey sales, more money in their pocket. Penn State sucking means less money
So Adidas is very much incentivized, directly and financially, to get rid of a Penn State coach who makes Penn State suck.
Somehow you seem to think that billion dollar multinational corporations care about football fandom. Like I guess you think Nike invested in Michael Jordan because they were Tar Heel fans in North Carolina? No. That is children’s stuff. You are a child to not understand this is not how the business world works. They care about money.

You mean like Phil Knight or Larry Elison or Kevin Plank or Boone Pickens?
The corporation adidas doesn’t give a frick about paying Franklin’s buyout. That’s just a fact and the dumbass that indicated it read it on some forum from some other idiot like you and then spouted it here

BK and Napier both getting fired in the same season definitely wasn't on my bingo card.

Turns out you need a good coach to use that talent
There is nothing genuinely likable about him.
He got no one to transfer with him from Norte dame
He just seems like an a-hole, whether it’s chewing out everyone or in the media

Giving up 49 points in tiger stadium is a desecration.
Posted on 10/25/25 at 10:02 pm to Boodis Man
Can they afford his buyout?
