Then ya, we know alot of the same people. I figured you would know him when you were talking about the online backing thing earlier. BJ and I met in 06 at Harrahs and ran with the same crowd. Smoke, BT, Cub, Matt B. etc.. for the series and on tour.

i remember you now...you are younger than me..you used to play the 2-5 game at the argosy with me back in the day..you always used to wear those headphones, and you always used to try to get a 5-10 game started...i remember when you took that little prelim. event down at harrah's when u just started out...

Things change a lot in 10+ yrs....lol.
I dont even have the slightest clue who any of you might be. I remember the older guys from Argosy, Treasure Chest, Boomtown, and Harrahs. I remember a lot of the Argosy guys cause thats where I started in the business.
Ron and Les ran the poker room back then. Also there was a Vietnamese guy who was a floor person who was easily the most skilled dealer I have ever seen. He could do things with cards that would make your jaw drop...of course he couldnt show it off while dealing, but it was impressive nonetheless.
I remember some players too. Nick G, Shorty L, Doc W, Billy B....those were the characters back then. They may still be around for all I know.

Yes and that was when i was starting with live tournaments. I was an online kid when I first started and had a fake ID since 18 that scanned at casinos so I was playing stud and limit holdem at Coushatta and Lake Chuck since 2002. Good memory though

im 28 now..i started playing at the argosy around 2003 or so..i remember the short time when it was 2-5nl with no limit on the buy in..things would get really ugly..lol..if i only knew back then what i know now..i used to do well in that game, and i didn't know even 20% of what i know now..
.i remember mr. frank, mr. mike, spoon, and a bunch of other random old dudes..i was part of the young kid movemenet back then..they didn't respect the young guys at first..but they learned quickly who to watch out for...

i just added you on facebook..you'll have to look at some of the older pics of me to remember me..i've put on about 60 lbs. over the past 3 years with this pro poker player experience thingy..
