Alabama beat Georgia, dumb arse.

they also have 2 losses. Do yall not seem to realize that? I'm about to really blow your mind here:

Last year alabama finished higher than LSU and Tennessee....despite losing to both of those teams. CRAZY RIGHT!?

Their two losses were to Michigan and Texas which are both rated higher than Georgia.

1) Two losses. Not one, two. You can't pick and choose what is important (head to head) and ignore other things (the other 13 games)

2) When it's all said and done Texas won't be ranked ahead of Georgia. And if your argument is "well, texas was ranked really high when bama beat them so that's all that matters not where they're ranked now" then by that logic bama should be #1 since that's what we were ranked in the SECCG.

Not sure how any rational thinking person can have watched CFB all season and not feel UGA is deserving of a top 3 ranking.

Perhaps since Texas beat Bama, who beat Georgia?
Ah yeah, the good ole transitive property.

I didn't pick and choose, I used common sense. You think Georgia needs to be ranked ahead of Bama because they have 1 less loss? Georgia played a weaker schedule. You would only have a legit argument if Bama had lost to a team that was ranked lower than Georgia, but that didn't happen this year.

Texas didn't look any worse in their top-2 matchup than Bama did in theirs. Identical records and UT has the H2H. I don't see the pollsters dropping them behind Bama.

And UM/UW seem locked into the top two. So really you have to put UGA at 3 or 5.

3 seems "right" but they don't have the conference title. And I know we're bagging on the transitive property, but no matter the outcome on Monday there's a preferential rank based on outcomes (UGA < Bama < UM or UGA < Bama < UT < UW). I think UGA's locked at #5.

Oregon might have a case for #5 if UW blows the doors off of UM but I wouldn't bank on the AP dropping UGA after the Orange Bowl win. Oregon seems locked at #6.
