If they would have just seeded UNI who is a much better team than Chattanooga some of this would have been avoided. Still would have had NDSU-SDSU but at least UNI and ISUR would have been avoided.

We both knew that UNI was not going to get a seed though.
The issue I still have is the deliberate putting of MVC teams in same side when it was very easy to spread them out until the Quarters.
And if you did put one in a 2nd rd matchup put the lowest seed with highest seed.

Payton Award finalist named...
Vernon Adams, QB Eastern Washington
Best player in the country hands down should win in a landslide. EWU only loss came when he was hurt.
Justin Arias, QB Idaho St.
Lead FBS in passing yards 4,076 and tied broke a school record with 38 TD's.
Josh Robertson, QB Villanova
Threw for 2926 yds, 960 yds rushing was named the CAA POW 6 times Responsible for 260 points this season.

The Sports Network's predictions for round 2 of the playofs. In italics is some of my thoughts about the games. Bolded are the two conferences as usual.
UNH 35 Fordham 30 UNH may need to look for upset bid as Fordham can sling it and UNH backed its way into 1 seed
UTC 28 INS 26 Chatanooga gets to prove it was a legit seed, but play the worst of the 2 power conferences
Richmond 28 Coastal 24 Coastal will win this game IMO Coastal went 13 qtrs without giving up a TD
Jax St 35 Sam St 24 SLC lone survivor probably gets eliminated
ILS 21 UNI 20 To me the best matchup of the playoffs, to date. I think UNI wins though
NDSU 31 SDSU 21 Will be a slugfest and a great matchup also. If you like running the ball and great defense this is the game of the week.
EWU 35 Montana 31 Adams will probably throw for about 460 to set up the game of the playoff vs UNI/ILS winner
Nova 29 Liberty 20 Nova big, Liberty got their two big wins in back to back weeks.

Little Late on this, so sorry. Two coaches have been named at the FCS level
Penn: Ray Priore
Wagner: Jason Houghtaling
Columbia is officially opened today also
Not hearing anything out there but just a hunch guess etc if some MAC school needs a HC after this next weekend I am thinking Spack might get the call.
What is disturbing, to me at least, is there is no news coming from Missouri State. The former players and people who helped build it in the late 80's are not even given a chance to voice their opinions.

Spack's son is a redshirt Sophomore at ISU. That may throw a wrench in him leaving. Hoping ISU steps up and pays him.

Youngstown candidates all have Slimeball ties. I personally can not stand Tressell and YSU.
But he is in middle of picking this coach, so of course he is going to rebuild it the way he built and destroyed it.

Nice guy. ISU absolutely dominated the first quarter, 21-0, 250 yards to 3 or something ridiculous.

Does anyone know why Roberson left Indiana? He's a really solid player. I'd be happy to have him at LSU.
Posted on 12/6/14 at 2:24 pm to TheWalrus
He got beat out by Nate Sunderfeld and wanted to start.

UNI's quarterback can't throw at all, I don't know how they have been undefeated with him at the helm.

Think I remember hearing he got injured and passed on the depth chart. He had a couple solid performances their though.
