First some HIGE surprises and head scratchers in the way the top 4 seeded
Also the Valley got some home cooking but each earned their spot 5 of 16 are Valley teams
SLU blew their shot yesterday. SMS had everything go right yesterday. Montana should be in but they just didn’t play enough games for at large

JMU instead of SDSU should be 1 seed, they were 1 in every poll.
Tomorrow I will do team synopsis of top half bracket. Tuesday will be bottom half. I will share articles and other information through the week

Was Missouri State an at-large? They were 5-4.

They shared the MVC title and yes at large. 3 losses were in fall 2 to UCA and 1 to OU
They beat UND USD on road SIU at home. They were 5-1 this spring

I’m not sure how 5 Valley teams got in though. Should not have. They gave NDSU a legacy bid. But then made them play EWU also made UND SMS rematch is kid of dumb. Should’ve been SIU left out (They would’ve if SLU won) SMS should be going to Weber IMO.

Not a good look when you delay everything until Spring, and many of those teams still have only played 3, 4, or 5 games.

I guess because the field is smaller than usual years due to COVID, southeastern would have normally been in. They were a really good offensive this year and was the south land runner up. But that defense... yeesh
