Don't fricking dare go off topic in this thread, bro in law.

if the fratpack can derail any thread it wants to, then so can the OTBBGT crew, pal

If you're gonna talk about shite rec b-ball talk about when Josh thought you and the Lab wanted to beat him up.

actually, i was most proud of his getting pissy cuz i froze him out

wait it happened last week too?

hell, yes. and it was glorious.
not as good as this week, tho. mario calling him a racist was awesome

Why doesn't he just kick him out and get it over with?

maybe the 3rd time will be the charm, cuz it's gonna/gotta happen

this isn't ANY thread, bitch. Josh is probably only going to leave or get fired a few more times this decade.

Isiah, this will come back to bite you. MJ never forgets.

what's the odds on josh joining a houston-related website as cougarsteve and asking random questions about the latest sportsradio personality to hit the houston airwaves?

by the way, did ever try and use his 250 lb frame in the lane, or did he just hang out around the 3-pt line?

Mostly the three point line. We had a big 6'6 black center, who wasn't great, but he was big and would get physical. Josh was supposed to "stretch him out" but after that 3 he threw up an airball or two and found his way to the bench.

To be fair it was a nice shot at a big time. But he was definitely the most taunted player in Parkview student section history...and that's alot b/c we had some pretty racist fans in a district with the likes of Scotlandville, Port Allen, West Feliciana, Redemptorist, Capitol...etc

he's probably already laid that groundwork just as Jonathan laid his own.

Can someone actually tell me how he got a job doing radio in the 4th biggest city in the states?

Idon't think Innes is totally hopeless. I just don't enjoy his jokes and his constant pop culture referential tid-bits....such as when he plays songs that were done before his birth and tries to act like he was a part of them. I also think he tries to hard with guests and lets his moderate sense of humor take over TFH.

I was grilled a while back for sticking up for him and I did that only bc he's 22 and has years to improve. That said, I think it's very odd that a big market would hire him. That I don't get.

He's 22. How does Houston just call up and say, "We want you based on the hour you're on radio"? I'm in the wrong business if that's the case!

I'd be willing to bet the Houston station manager worked a morning zoo program in Topeka with Scott Innes 20 years ago.

he's been in the business for probably 25-30 years around the country. i'm sure he's made a few hack friends along the way. And of course he is the CMA radio host Award winning voice of Scooby Doo.

he is being paid though, thats the key. here, he had to have daddy line up 10 new sponsors to line scona's pockets just to get let back on the air

josh probably got a salary deal where he gets his co-host gig, then he gets his 1 hr, then he has to do production stuff for other people all day, and he gets very shitty production gigs on every weekend (like running the board for games and stuff)

all that for about $20K
