Man, it would be hard for me to sit Slaton (regardless) the way he has been doing. Only thing that worries me with Harrison is that he may not get many looks (due to the lack of necessity). If Addai is out, I am starting Rhodes for damn sure

I've been released from suicide watch and have been cleared to comment. I'm not saying what you should do on this, but I wanted to mention that Rhodes is not a big drop off from Addai if you're talking about the Lions. I might have a different take against a different team, but I'm just saying that I wouldn't let Addai in or out influence my decision that much.

This could be a great one-week play (if Addai is out).

Yep, I have had Rhodes on my bench all year due to Addai's ins and outs...Not to sound mean to an LSU alum, but if Addai is out, I would freaking jump for joy. I think anyone who knows anything about fantasy football could figure that one out

I got one for ya:
I am starting Cassel at the moment (Q - due to his dad's passing away) and I also have Thigpen...Should I hang on to both and just start Thigpen if Cassel is out, or pick up Orton vs the Saints?

I've been marginally impressed with Rhodes only because he's played better than I thought he would, but don't look for him to set any records this week. He's only had one big game this year. I know he hasn't had the Lions on the other side of the ball, but of all the games this season, how many has he had sans Addai? By my count, three. The other comment I had in my mind is that hosting the Lions might be just the opportunity for Peyton to show the fans that he's okay. After such a weak season, that's got to be on his mind and Reggie's mind, and Marvin's mind, etc., etc.

I wouldn't bank on the dad thing having the same effect on Matt as it did on Favre. And I wouldn't assume that Oakland's D is going to go soft on Matt if he plays. They'll take advantage of any situation they can right now.

I like the Thigpen match up about as much as the Orton with an ever-so-slight leaning towards Thigpen. Who's giving up more points, the Saints or the Chargers?

Saints are giving up 231 passing ypg and 25 ppg
Chargers 249 passing and 22 ppg
