I don't believe there is much of a market for Julio.

I believe that when I see it. Nothing wrong with his hands or speed. Chasing rings means going where you feel you are the difference-maker. Even if he has to give some with the top money to make it work, the ring would be the thing. He has made so much money already.

it doesn't make sense for them to draft a qb for 3 years from now.

it would be insane and incredibly stupid. one of the most +EV aspects of a 1st round QB is the cost-controlled 5 years

wasting 40% of that is....not ideal

also, this year should be proof that teams have skewed the QB market so badly, taking a guy like Lance at 4 isn't historical value. he's similar to Love, who went in the last 1st just last year. Mac Jones is likely going top 3. QBs outside of the top tier who go in that mid-late 1st or early 2nd range bust like few other positions. now those QBs are going top 10? Top 5? frick that

With the extra game and the possibility of Ryan getting hurt, Lance would get time year 1. Then they split time year 2. Lance is the full time starter by year 3 (same formula as McNair in Houston/Tenn). Takes pressure off everybody and they can start building towards that.

Team has some youth and they can ship the vets when they have the opportunity to backfill. I would go QB, unless someone blows me away with a trade..
