European vs American football

I hate when Europeans judge us on our version of football. It’s like hey dude, I hate the NFL too. The culture is contrived and trashy. Lacks real passion unlike college football. And then they have a confused stare when you mention college football and greats like LSU, Michigan, etc. Now that’s real culture and passion that can exceed that of the Premier League. They’re just completely oblivious that CFB even exists..and they think we’re ignorant…

Who gives a frick what people from other countries think about what our pastimes are here?
In a nation that doesn’t care much for soccer, we can sponsor a World Cup without help, though we let Mexico and Canada help this time around.
University athletics in the rest of the World are negligible. There’s nothing to compare our system to anywhere else.

They wont ever grasp the fact that our sporting history and lore is in the college game. Which is much older than the pro game.
