The way so many underrate Steph is crazy.
He can go anywhere from 2-4, nowhere else.
And even though I wouldn't put him #2, it's not absurd, he absolutely has an argument for #2.

Agreed. I have him at 2 but he is clearly no worse than 4th and I feel like I'm taking crazy pills

Steph became underrated when Durant joined the team and cut into some of Steph's statistics.

If anything, seeing KDs explosion this past year only highlights how valuable Steph is

Towns is much, much more efficient than Cousins

They can't. They can't give an argument. They do the usual LMAO like LmaO at you you Pelitard. Typical, they bring no substance.
I have Boogie in the 11-15 range, probably 1-2 sports ahead of KAT, which is fair. Advanced stats, nod to boogie. Defense, easy nod to boogie. Offensive, close, though it still goes to boogie. If someone has an actual argument for KAT being better, currently, I'd love to hear it. If you're saying you'd take him over Cousins to start a franchise then I absolutely agree. But that's not the discussion.

But you'd agree that Boogie is considerably better on defense, right?

probably 1-2 sports ahead of KAT, which is fair.
But for someone to have Boogie ahead isn't crazy or the "cult of Boogie" at all. It's a legit take.
I should have clarified that a couple of posts back.

How the frick is he MUCH more efficient when they have practically the exact same PER (player EFFICIENCY rating)

Draymond is a critical piece to the Warriors success, but he's not a top 10 player
Agreed. I feel like a top 10 player (maybe even top 20) is a piece you build a franchise around.
I don't think anyone sees Draymond as that type of player. I think calling him a role player undersells his value, but I don't think he's a true first option either which is what I expect out of a top 10 player.

And he's absolutely terrible on defense.
shite, Jokic is insanely efficient on offense, but he's a terrible defender. Should he be ahead of Cousins also?

It's not like Boogie is an impact defender, not going to make up for ~60% difference in TS/eFG

KAT has a higher PER (close, of course), ORtg, TS%, TRB%, and much higher in the win shares column. Defense leaves something to be desired and DMC has a better DRtg.
I don't want to argue one over the other, but I don't see the need to be so dismissive of the argument.

It has always amused me. Dude is a borderline top 25 player

Absolutely. The cult of Boogie comment was in response to the Pels fan saying he wouldn't even listen to an argument for Towns over Boogie.

I think it has a bit to do with playing for Sacramento and New Orleans, two desperate fan bases. But yea, he's in that Kyrie, Towns, etc class, his fans always want to put him in that top 10, superstar level.
