Why you gonna use a hypothetical of what player do we think has the worst backups? Instead of let’s look at the readily available data showing what actually happened for an award like MVP. It’s mind boggling.

It’s fitting that you posted this in response to yourself, since you’re the one who brought up McCown and Chase Daniel. I just threw in Cassel and Flynn to show you that your argument was stupid.

You are the one with the wrong defintion of mvp. It’s LEAGUE MVP. What player is most valuable to the league that year. Sorry but if a guy is on a .500 squad and gets hurt and his team loses out that is not of importance to the league as a whole that year.

The award hasn’t ever been what player is most valuable to his own team.

The MVP voting results have proven this time and time again.

Not as stupid as you using your imagination to come up with how someone’s backup would play to decide who is the league MVP.

Adrian Peterson won the award in 2012 and the Vikings were 10-6. 12 other teams were equal or better than that. Why did he win when other teams did better than the Vikings?

You know you getting it handed to you when you make up arguments.

We never said you had to be on the best team. We said elite player in one of the best teams.

You make up something I said more than once a page. Give it up bro.

Because he came within a hair's breadth of breaking Eric Dickerson's record for most rushing yards in a season.

Right. And he was an elite player on a middle-of-the-pack squad. 12 teams were equal or better.

Sorry, bro. He wasn’t on one of the best teams. Disqualified.

Dud you gotta go back 5 years to find something than “might be” an exception to what I’m saying. Clearly 10-6 is good enough. How many more years back behind Peterson’s MVP year do you have to go to find a team that you think isn’t good enough to fit my criteria.

So, 10-6 is good enough. Is 9-7?

Where is the line drawn? How is 10-6 one of the best teams, and who decides that?

T-9TH best record in the nfl that year..lol

But he gets pissed off about Westbrook winning mvp last year because it wasn't a top seed.

We think a lot of this animosity is poorly-veiled Westbrook criticism.

I don’t draw the line. The voters do. You clearly don’t get it. Thinking the MVP is who means the most to their team when anybody can see that dog don’t hunt. Safe to say we haven’t seen many 9-7 MVP winners.

I hate to cross my picket lines here, but Harden is substantially better than Westbrook. But that’s neither here nor there.
