SVP is going to be the voice of ESPN.
I wish he could go all in on ESPN on his show, but I get the feeling he is going to defend the network or just say some kind words about the people that got canned.

I'd love to see their analysis on how this will generate increased revenue and sales for them.
It won't.
It is a cost cutting measure. Tackling their revenue problem is another topic altogether.

Hoping Rusillo and SVP both bolt, then ESPN can literally go away in an explosion
Google what SVP has to say about FS1

ESPN has become terrible and my viewership is essentially zero outside of live sports. But I hate to see all these folks headed home without a job at days end. Wish them the best.

FS1 is atrocious. They have a live TV show with Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe debating. It is part of the problem not the solution

Yeah, with all due respect to Ed Werder it's not like he was bringing in revenue, either.

Surprised John Clayton's name hasn't popped up yet. He's probably making good money and Schefter is basically shoved him into the background.

I can't defend Jemele Hill. She's an angry provocateur and I turn the channel whenever she's on. But that's precisely why she's on. She pisses people off and if you're talking about her, even negatively, ESPN will take that.
But she's not the first type of personality that ESPN has had on specifically to piss people off.

I've never heard of Reese Waters.

Me either so I checked him out. He was associated with the Undefeated

ESPN is obviously trying to dumb down its product to better reach the new generation

I honestly did not know that show was still on. Wow.

Exactly. I find it tough to believe that nobody here watches her and yet knows all of her crazy shite that she spouts off.
Hate watching is still watching, unless the MSB just assigns one poor bastard a week to do all the watching and then disseminates what happened to everybody else.

Guess that's why. I figured the undefeated would go untouched today.
