for CFB I think they would get rid of their fake QB guru Whitfield, Desmond, the Bear and maybe Galloway
Whitfield is a joke. LOL at them hiring that fraud
Desmond isn't going anywhere
The bear is just a crew guy that they gave camera time too, right? I am of the belief that he has no real asking power in terms of more money..

Other ESPN personalities are seeing their roles “significantly reduced,” a person with knowledge of the situation told The Hollywood Reporter. They include Baseball Tonight’s Karl Ravitch [sic], ESPN Radio’s Ryen Russillo and Hannah Storm, who has been a mainstay at ESPN for a decade and hosted various iterations of flagship SportsCenter,
These are all people under contract I believe, so their contract isn't probably conducive to letting them go now. However, this is probably the first step. Once their contract is up or becomes more manageable, they'll be shown the door. Russillo's days are probably numbered at ESPN

ESPN expanded rapidly to capitalize on a market. Market is no longer there so they need to contract. Have one main channel, an alternate or two for live sports, and heavy online presence. Also, they need to shift their politics to neutral, though it's probably too late for that

Trevor Matich has to be one gone from CFB. Dude is a hack

They need to get out of politics all together.
Joe 6-pack who comes home from work and flips on SportCenter doesn't give a damn about seeing politics on there. He just wants sports.

oh... did I read that they plan on trying to basically expand E:60 & Outside the Lines?
Outside the Lines lost all credibility with me on the whole Loomis Wiretap-gate bull

They are going to keep that douche Bill Polian too. That is one insufferable prick. It's like he hates the thought of even breathing and he takes it out of everyone.

This is the most riveting day at ESPN in years.
I should've taken the day off and drank while refreshing twitter.

You can hate ESPN all day long but I can't see how any of the names so far are jazzing you up.

Oh what about Booker and Spears? I like Spears but I think one of them could be on the block.

I grilled for Bruno's in Tuscaloosa back in 2010. GameDay was in town for Penn State. Matich walked out of the store with a receipt stuck to his foot and looked like a slob. CSB, but it's an image I'll never forget when it comes to him.

He says things to try to "fit in" it seems

These names can't really be putting much of a dent in the tens of millions they are losing yearly from cord cutting.
Can't imagine most of them are making more than 60k, and even with travel and accommodations. Not much of a dent.

Just looked it up Anthony!

Booger is way better than Spears IMO

It's the opposite of national signing day
If it goes well, maybe ESPN will bring it back next year

He's really is. And ESPN sees that as well because he's all over the place Mike and Mike, SportsCenter, etc. I can't remember the last time I've seen Spears
