As mentioned most NFC teams in the 80's and 90's except for the Raiders...they were about the only AFC team in the 80s that kicked the shite out of NFC teams and destroyed their will to play football.
'83 Redskins were the highest scoring team in NFL history up to that point. Theismann was the NFL MVP...Gibbs was Coach of the Year.
They scored 75 points in the playoffs before the Super Bowl (2 games) - they scored 9 points in the Super Bowl. Sort of how the 2007 Pats got shut down by the Giants. (love how wiki boston honks list them as 16-0 and bury the playoffs in the article.)
Raiders also beat the frick out of the big bad Philly bullies who were the best team in football in 1980 until the Super Bowl.
