Out there, wind plays a huge factor. Or it does for me.
If it’s not windy, 0-10 degrees out west is like 30-35 in the south. Not fun, but not miserable either. Once you start getting some wind though, it gets rough quick.
Will also say once it gets below zero out there, it doesn’t matter. It’s cold as frick. Coldest I’ve ever been was -23 with a 10 mph breeze in Wyoming. It was 15 a couple days before that and we were walking around Casper with just a fleece jacket as the only layering we had on.

We were in Bozeman last October 2021..The university has one of the best dinosaur museums in the world. And there was much more snow than today.

I'm flying to Billings Thursday to spend Thanksgiving up there. Fortunately east of the Bridgers isn't nearly as cold as Bozeman.
