Ironically as I'm typing this, this chick on the radio is talking about having switched to fubo TV and hating their interface.
that's the thing. YTTV is, by far, the best streaming app. Sling was ok when I had it years ago, but having to switch between the antenna and the app to watch local channels got old real fast

Looks like things are starting to come together finally.

Apparently Disney is telling people the opposite after their quarterly earnings call. This is going to drag out for awhile.

you say that. But as things stand users have substitutes for YouTube TV, they can switch and go watch there. They don't have substitutes for just ESPN.
I say that...because I'm not talking about the ESPN channels. Millions will still stay with YTTV, and Disney needs those eyeballs for the shitty legacy channels that are struggling to keep running.

It's still a major sticking point. Disney's expenses are stretched thin.

Which they will if it's permanent (hence, the $20 credit so far).
Alphabet is far bigger and more wealthy than Disney. It's 17 times bigger in worth, in fact. Disney needs this far more while YTTV is just a successful side hustle for the Google monster.

Im not dropping YTTV and I'm not adding some bullshite abc/espn subscription. I'll watch something else or I'll just go fishing or working in my woodshop.
I'm not going to be bending the knee to the Rat.
