You do realize that the 30 for 30 in the title refers to events that happened in the 30 years that ESPN has existed, don't you?

Bonds 2001-2004. In my lifetime, it was the most dominant stretch I have ever seen by any athlete.

Yes, even over Pedro at his peak, Armstrong's seven titles, Phelps in Beijing, Usain Bolt (this is probably second for me), etc.

The only thing that I think compares is the 2007 Patriots, but of course, that is a team effort.

Did you somehow miss the Tiger Woods era?

I know many here probably hate soccer, but I feel like they could make an interesting one about the Serie A scandal and Italy's run to the World Cup in 2006.

I will still take Bonds over Tiger. His numbers were a fricking joke. In one year, his obp was .609. That barely makes sense...even on Playstation.

In those four years, Bonds led baseball in obp, slugging, ops, ops+, walks, win probability added, offensive win %, adjusted batting, etc.

I thought it was supposed to be for the 30 films and 30 directors?

Hitler snubbing Jesse Owens

This would be a h]good one because the popular story is not what actually happened.

Hitler did not just snub Owens because he was black, but he did not shake the hands of any winner after being talked to by the Olympic judges because he was shaking the only the hands of the German winners.

Hitler did send him a telegram and Owens stayed in the same hotel as the white athletes in Berlin. He had to ride the fright elevator in New York city at a dinner in his honor and never received anything from FDR.

I'd like to see Hagler-Leonard's epic and controversial split decision fight as the focus of one based around the two titans of the middleweight division in the 80's.

You could get all the angles in it; 80s drug excess, the rise of the celebrity athlete, the guy who walked away from it when he felt he got jobbed.

Watching that fight with my dad is still my fondest sports memory, twenty five years later.

I still believe Leonard had judges on the take and the organizations. They got all concessions, rds, ring size, etc.
