Watched this and was a bit dissapointed. Was really hoping they would address maybe something in his past or family history of the abuse of women. Have always been surprised his first wife didnt reveal stories of abuse. Would be interesting if they addressed that.

They implied that he was given the star treatment and got off the hook based upon his athletic ability, but doesnt really explain or tie that directly to the abuse of his wife which ended up ruining his life.

The fact that he didnt use his platform to advance the civil rights movement really was not his downfall. His downfall was repeatedly physically abusing his wife until he finally killed her. Jim Brown served time for abusing women. Seeing that guy being depicted as some sort of voice of reason in this show is fairly despicable.

From what I've heard there will be plenty of accounts that depict how much of a monster he was.
