he spoke the truth, didn't step on anyones toes, but people, certain people don't like hearing the truth especially from the opposite race!

Getting rid of Dauterive will be a huge mistake in my opinion. This man has brought this school from the dweller with athletics, the kids look up to him, he supports them and goes over and beyond to help them out.
To me this is clearly a statement made to get district board members off there arse and start getting to work to help these kids instead of sitting back blaming others and watching potentially successful students stay in the so called "cycle".
The real question or wait and see answer will be who they hire if Dauterive is fired. I am sure int will be a sit on his arse coach that takes orders from the board and the team will be a consistant 3-7.
Hell, he gets fired. I would love to see him back in Opelousas.

well, that is messed up, I'm sure those kids will be hurt, but no one gives a damn about how they feel!

They have a great team too! They will make a great run in the playoffs.
People got pissed bc he ran a tough program....if a black coach said this, he would be hailed as the next savior of the world, and if a white coach said this and it was an all white school, then he too would be praised and prob would be our next governor.
People say there is no such thing as reverse discrimination- a white person cant be discriminated against- bullshite-
If a white guy goes into a black club, then we are Narcs, looking to bust someone, but they come to ours, they cool bc they hangin with whitie!
A black woman can get away with murder- she can leave work when she wants- whitie boss who is female aint saying a word- she scared...but if white girl leaves, she gets written up- there are a thousand better references out there, you get the picture.

yeah, I hear ya, loud and clear, Black people are prejudiced to, but they know when and how to use it, that's the problem, and in most cases it has nothing to do with the damn kids!
