It's called reading from the script. Standing next to a teams large group of cheering fans and saying something along the lines of "it's crazy down here" or standing on the sideline and reporting "I saw the trainers working on (insert player's name) and he appears to be in a great deal of pain" does not make you knowledgable about football.
