Emmitt Smith DID NOT make the playoffs more times than he did!

Trying to talk to you about this is like trying to talk to my 2 year old about this...wait he would get it!

Emmitt Smith played 15 seasons and the teams he played on made the playoffs only 7 times out of those 15 seasons! How is that EVERY season like you said junior?

don't call me junior. Obviously he didn't make it every season you retard. you really think I didn't know that? However, he still made it more times than Sanders and he had a much much much much more talent around him.

Really son? I am 38 years old and have been following the NFL since the mid 70s. You may know more with the use of GOOGLE or any other search engine, but there is no way in hell you know half of what I know off the top of your head.

However, the Cowboys were torched by unheralded Lion quarterback Erik Kramer through the air and gave up 38 points. The final score was Detroit 38 Dallas 6.

WHEN IT COUNTED Sanders did not show up and he did not the next week against Washington either.

What a decoy he was. When you let Eric Kramer beat you 38-6 you have been OWNED!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey PJ, just out curiosity who would be your top 5 NFL rbs of all time? You may have answered this previous threads, but I'm a lazy bastard right now and I'm not searching it.

Also a side note, why does every single Emmitt Smith conversation always have to turn into an Emmitt vs Barry spat? Why can't both runningbacks be regarded as two of the best to play?

This I don't get. They were different kind of RB'S. Smith had great teams around him BUT was AWESOME. Barry was something we will NEVER see again.

PJ I agree mostly with your list since someone earlier asked me to list my top and explain it.

1. Jim Brown
2. Walter Payton
3. Barry Sanders
4. Eric Dickerson
5. Gayle Sayers

All these guys were more dynamic than Emmitt during their careers and all carried teams for most of their careers. Emmitt was a great back, but he had a hall of fame QB, WR, TE, eventual OL all around him that Emmitt did.

Mine is similar,

1. Jim Brown
2. Walter Payton
3. Barry Sanders
4. Emmitt Smith
5. Curtis Martin

I just can't put Gayle in there due to his injuries.

I'd have Brown first and then in no particular order Sanders, Sayers, Simpson, & Payton.
