That was a dig at the DH, which I thought was fairly obvious to the intuitive baseball fan.

did you not read the rest of it?

the part about winning with less talent and the fricking reasons. such as the schemes.

as far as ku football they have some talent and a easy schedule that his how they won.

in basketball schemes can take an average team and make them good.

Coaching is a huge element in basketball.

The coaching swap for the Mavericks is the reason we'll win the title next year.

It's got to be baseball. Because the majority of the skippers, all they do is chew tobacco, curse umpires, or walk out to the mound holding their nuts. If that aint easy, I don't know what is.

is that hard to see the part bt the title of the thread and basketball?

the easiest to take average talent and win with.

IMO coaching is huge in basketball, that is why you can have ok players and a great coach and you can win games.

:rotflmao: Yeah, the guy who could never even win the Eastern Conference with the best team by far is now going to go to the West and win not only the conference but the NBA Finals as well?

Definitely Baseball. and even in little league all you have to do is make sure the outfielders are sitting in the grass picking flowers.

Jermaine O'Neal sprained his left knee in that series. It's not as if he's blown it with the best team multiple times, he only had one chance.

The Pacers were probably the best NBA team 3 years ago but that year was destroyed by basketbrawl.

Who do you think is more responsible for the pacers problems? Larry Bird, or Donny Walsh?

mainly the fact you can improve talent you have rather easily with drills and just reps. Also the schemes you can apply. esp in the levels around high school like just running full court presses and wearing people down.

you can't just make average players athletic. full court press works when you have quick, smart athletes, and if the other team is smart and/or more athletic, the press won't work for long probably.

regardless of your talent, baseball requires almost no coaching. practice grounders, pop-ups, hitting, done.

and it does you no good to do drills and reps if you don't do them right or do them all out.
