Who made this decision for Hurts to carry a professional team as their QB. He couldn’t beat out a fragile Tua in college and now you going make him your QB in the Pros?

Someone got some explaining to do, Eagles front office has gone to shite.

With that Oline, no one is going to "carry" the Eagles. They have been turnstiles all night.

Are you stupid? He has no blocking and has been on the run the entire game.

You can't succeed if you have no protection

He seems to be a good dude. Took his lumps in college after being passed over.
Unfortunately he doesn’t have the talent but he plays hard. Like most running QBs in the league, they’ll figure u out in 2-3 years. It’ll be quicker with him.

So having him drop back 50 times is a pretty bad idea

They’ve given their RBs 3 carries all game, how is that even possible?

Watching him in college, I never thought he could be a good NFL QB

Protection or not he’s not carrying a team to the playoffs, Talking heads say well the Eagles have gotta see what he can do to see if he’s the future QB, what message does that sent to the team?

We know this guy can’t really get it done and should be a backup I’m Jacksonville, but we gotta waste a season to see if he really is shitty as advertised!!!

But the rest of team bust your arse for 4-12 ot 5-11

Yawn.

Another stupid take you will never own on the future if you're wrong.

The guy looks decent for his second year. He needs to grow and it doesn't help when he has starting OL missing so his protection became non-existent.

Hurts has been playing good football for the Eagles, not tonite of course, but his future looks good.

You gonna come back when he’s not starting in a few weeks when a change needs to be made?

Let’s be honest, the only reason why the OP made this thread is because of where Hurts spent his first 3 years of college. If he came out of Indiana or Virginia Tech, you wouldn’t care at all.

He's got no shot if they're not gonna attempt to run the ball. They were down in the game but it wasn't so much that you just completely abandon the run.

Contrary to popular belief, I’ve only started one thread about Burrow/Lawrence/Tua/etc and it was about Burrow getting walloped in week 2/3 last season.

But I do live rent free in LSU poster’s heads.

He's not elite, but he doesn't really look that bad to me. He look like h deserves his starting spot so far.

His arm is much better than ever. Used to be, everything was a crow hop and his accuracy wasn't worth a shite. He has definitely improved in that department.

If you swapped QBs in this game tonight, how different would the outcome have been?
