I'm telling you, it has to be Braylon Edwards.

if the #s i posted are right, and they have $15M, they can extend desean and sign edwards

and if they work out a long-term deal with vick, they'll open up a lot of room (he's taking up a shite-ton)

Maybe even Plaxico if they're really feeling swagtastic.

Yeah, I figure they have a 3 year window with these moves.

Desean and Lesean McCoy deserve a solid bump IMO.

i think they're waiting to see what vick does (and the room that opens up) before they try to extend desean

Adam Caplan said we had cap credits from last year, so more than most people thought.

We just dealt Broderick Bunkley for a 5th round pick.

We're being strongly linked to Plaxico.

Also, Jenkins deal is really basically a 1 year, $4 mil deal.

I didn't pay much attention to the Eagles last year but I thought Bunkley was a Pro Bowler two years back? Did he just fall off the face of the earth last year to only garner a 5th rounder?

He's only really had about 10 good games in his 5 year career. That was the year it looked like he was coming into his own, but he regressed backed to worthlessness. Didn't make the pro bowl.

Is Jenkins going to move inside to DT judging by them trading Bunkley away right after?

Yep. Should be a backup/rotational guy... brought here to pass rush. Perfect fit of the new system... just health issues.

Obviously you're an Eagles fan (I stick mostly to the Recruiting Board), so do you think they keep the three corners?

I feel as if they should for at least 1 year and see how it plays out. Would also help DRC a lot getting man-to-man press coverage help from Asomugha and zone coverage help from Samuel

Yeah, it's up in the air.

The blogger I like most says he thinks we'll move Samuel, potentially to the Jets, since they lost out on Nnamdi.

Nnamdi and DRC are press man guys, like you said, and Samuel is more of an off-man, gambler type.

I'd like to keep the 3 for at least this year. I don't think money is really an obstacle at this point.

Biggest concern is Linebacker where we have a bunch of nobodies, though Jamar Chaney (who I was really excited they drafted) looked really good in limited time last season. Eagles never really emphasize LB though... they could be targeting one of these FA guys too, who knows. Apparently they think Casey Matthews can start immediately too.

I think it's likely the Eagles sign Plaxico.

Your latter sentence is what the Jets like at Corner, which negates your former one...

How much fricking cap room did they have? I generally favor the Eagles(not a real fan) but I'm starting to resent them.
