Dwight Howard Used To Consume A Truly Shocking Amount Of Candy

Good God Almighty
quote:
Howard’s legs tingled, he complained, but she noticed he was having trouble catching passes too, as if his hands were wrapped in oven mitts. Well, he quietly admitted, his fingers also tingled. [Lakers nutritionist Dr. Cate] Shanahan, with two decades of experience in the field, knew Howard possessed a legendary sweet tooth, and she suspected his consumption of sugar was causing a nerve dysfunction called dysesthesia, which she’d seen in patients with prediabetes.
What was the cause? Emphasis theirs:
To alter Howard’s diet, though, Shanahan first had to understand it. After calls with his bodyguard, chef and a personal assistant, she uncovered a startling fact: Howard had been scarfing down about two dozen (24) chocolate bars’ worth of sugar every single day for years, possibly as long as a decade. “You name it, he ate it,” she says. Skittles, Starbursts, Rolos, Snickers, Mars bars, Twizzlers, Almond Joys, Kit Kats and oh, how he loved Reese’s Pieces.
Good God Almighty

Matches his child-like demeanor on the court.

Tom Brady has a personal chef that prepares healthy options to make sure he is at peak physical shape.
Dwight Howard eats candy with every meal.
Wonder which one is considered the best ever in their sport?

How did other players not mention something to Dwight? You're around this guy and he is scarfing a dozen candy bars in your face

Because everywhere he went (after Orlando?) his teammates didn't like him. They probably enjoyed watching that

Dude's got great taste in candy minus the Almond Joy.

I remember hating Almond Joy. Did it have coconut inside the bar because I can't remember? Almost anything with coconut was automatically gross to me growing up.

Dwight Howard so far looks like the new Rudy Gay, doesn't look like the problem on the surface, buuuuuuuutttttt.....
I think he may still have a fit in today's NBA but it wouldn't be on a team that relies on ball movement and has three slashing guards as their top guards. Oops, he's on that team now.
He fit just fine with Houston, than he and Harden started feuding and Harden coming in out of shape last season caused Houston's down year.

Excuse me. Didn't know. It seemed like the team dynamics at LAL and HOU were not great.
Wondered if it had to do with us enormous salary. Lack of productivity and wins.

how he took the magic to the finals past the celtics/cavs is one of sports greatest feats of all time

I'm fortunate to come from a long line of hunks. I can eat whatever I want and it don't matter

He played a BIG role In Lebron quitting on Cleveland. if Lebron coulda beat em that year highly likely he doesn't go to MIA.

Turkaloo and Rashard Lewis played a big part. I was a big fan of rashard Lewis, not so much turkeypuss. Stan van gundy coaching was pretty solid then too.

LMFAO at turkeypuss, either way no team led by dwight howard should ever be in the NBA finals he's one of the all time sorriest offensive players. 12-13 years in the league and the guy still can't show me a post move?
