Apparently Dwight had a long talk with his family, and arrived at the decision to give this one more year... I think all the reasons add up

This feels like a troll. I am having trouble letting myself believe it.

I know, but every "source" (I hate that word) is saying he's already met with Martins and DeVoss and told them he will opt in.

As magic fans we're used to having our souls crushed. So it would come as no surprise if Dwight is trolling us all

Do you guys remember the Emeka Okafor/Dwight Howard debate? That seems like the last time the front office made a good decision (besides convincing the city to pony up for the new arena). Since then, nothing has happened that made me comfortable about Magic personnel moves.

I remember controversy with this team even way before then.

The only good one I can think of was convincing New Jersey to throw Ryan Anderson in the Vince Carter trade.

You've obviously forgotten about the Steve Francis deal. That was money

No doubt, but that was the last real good decision I remember.

That was a good move.

ETA: If it weren't for the Dwight Howard pick and the draft lottery luck of that guy with all of the adopted kids, I shudder to think if this franchise would still exist.
