Well agents and players need to stop being greedy bitches.

top off like wallace got paid. If your good the money will come. And someone mentions cruz, not hard to get open when teams double nicks. Not a Gmen fan just an observation.

Like others said, just the old, unproductive guys had trouble this offseason. Plus, it was a pretty weak FA period overall. The top guys got their money (Wallace, Kruger). Hell, even Kolb got a 2 yr/$13.5 mil deal, and the Colts went on a spending spree signing shitty players.
Besides FA, some big extensions/re-signing got done this offseason (Rodgers, Flacco, etc...)
Even if the owners did get together, good for them. I'm tired of seeing in the NFL and NBA mediocre players getting All-Pro/All-Star deals.

Take a look at Victor Cruz's situation and there's no question there's some collusion going on there.
How so? I thought the Giants offered him a contract @$7 million per season & when he turned them down the put a 1st round tender on him.

He's a RFA. I don't think it situation is too different from other big name RFAs in past years. It may be dragging on a little bit long than others, but I don't think that has anything to do with the collusion with the owners.
Honestly, I think with the QB price tag increasing, teams aren't wanting to overspend on other positions.

The new CBA wasn't too friendly towards the players, they are just now learning this.
Everyone else predicted this, except the players. They thought there would be all this money left over for the owners to spend because of the rookie cap.

There have been some big contracts, QB's are swallowing up 100 mil contracts regularly. While not free agents this has something to do with it.
