I get the argument for Shaq going instead of Laettner if he was too young to remember - but Whitlock was not. Laettner had the best college career of anyone since Bill Walton and had matched up favorably against the best big men in college (including Shaq, Webber, Larry Johnson...) Shaq was a freak but they didn't need another center and Laettner had just done more to deserve a spot.

The argument for Isiah over Stockton and Worthy over Mullin is just stupid. Stockton was playing at an incredible level, Mullin was fantastic in the early to mid 90s - Thomas was disliked by others & well past his prime and Worthy was just about retired. Why would you have taken Worthy over Mullin on that team? He fills no need and was just a lesser player that late in his career.
