If you consider a series to be consecutive games in a venue, they still haven't lost one.

I was trying to bring rational thought into the thread, but trying to do that around here is a fruitless endeavor most of the time

Comes back this week. That should help somewhat. But they are still going to have JEROME WILLIAMS starting 32 games.

Admittedly I do not follow the AL, so forgive my ignorance and it's not like Harren has been doing great for the nats but if their staff was this bad why didn't they option him, and why were they tryign to trade him for carlos marmol?

Right now, the Rangers are on pace for 103 wins.
Although, the Angles have struggled with a fairly easy schedule as well. I just think they are playing well below where they should while the Rangers are playing slightly above where they should.
I think the Rangers will win the division, but I also think the Angels will get back in the race and make it competitive.

Rangers are straight beasts...
They are able to fill their rotation with legit guys even though everyone is injured. Their bullpen is superb and their offense will continue to be a juggernaut if Moreland continues his hot pace.
Haren was told to move on because his velo dipped below 90 and he would cost 10 million a year.

And the cubs didn't trade becuase he had a bad hip, i get all that. This isn't about saying harren is good, but with as bad of a staff as everyone makes it out to be, holding onto harren might have been the better move.

You mean the Jerome Williams that is 3-1 with a 2.53 ERA, .217 BAA, and 1.11 WHIP???
Of all the issues with the rotation, Williams is not at the top of my concerns.

Considering Haren is struggling in the NL (5.54ERA) he and Blanton are probably a wash right now. If Angels offense gets going Blanton with 4.50-5.00 ERA should win 12 games

Jerome Williams is not good. He would be ok as a low leverage middle reliever, but if the Angels leave him in the rotation he will get killed.

Neither, they are both fricking terrible.
Their only hope is Trout stays hot and Albert and Hamilton catch fire.
Their offense should be great, but the rotation after Weaver and Wilson is an embarrassment.

The Angels haven't exactly been playing the hardest schedule in the MLB. And they still have one of the weakest bullpens and starting rotations in the Majors.
