Wrong, mayweathers ego has prevented you from realizing the caliber fighter he is

Dont let your hate for the guy make you say stupid shite

mentally handicapped. That's rich - you can't dispute a single thing I said. You can only rely on the fact that mayweather would hypothetically have destroyed pac two years ago. That assumption makes you look mentally handicapped.

Don't hate mayweather at all. I actually root for him and would root for him over pac. But, the fact of the matter is that his desire to keep his record perfect will taint his legacy.

Pac couldn't even land punches on Clottey....and the three punches Clottey fired in return bruised Pac up.

LOL at anyone who thinks Floyd ran from Pacquiao. That style matchup was a gift for the Mayweather camp.

Pacquiao punch stats vs. Clottey:

246 landed
1,231 thrown
20%

Wow...and Clottey never even moved. He just stood in front of Pacquiao the whole fight. With Floyd's movement and angles, he would have confused Pacquiao badly....making him hesitate to throw and countering him/landing each time Pac opened up.

There's a reason why Freddie Roach was quick to point out flaws in DLH, Cotto, Hatton, Margarito, etc. but when Floyd's name was brought up...there was no trash talk. He even admitted that Floyd was a different animal.

Bob Arum protected Manny in this potential fight. Pacman was bringing in serious $$$ to Top Rank and Arum knew Floyd would crush him. Why do you think Pacquiao only fights Top Rank-promoted fighters? It's Bob Arum's wish. If anyone wants to point fingers, point them at that man. He's the reason this fight didn't happen.

He won

130lb
135lb
140lb
147lb
154lb

Fought the best in almost all weight classes and won handily.

Pound for pound is he is one of the greatest of all time if not greatest. He would destroy PacMan and I really hope Alvarez and him fight so he can show how badly he will destroy him.

Canelo is young and will be legit down the road....but right now, he's not. He's a Golden Boy hype job that needs more time for development. They better be careful with him or he'll be the next Victor Ortiz (another pre-mature Golden Boy hype job).

Floyd would humiliate Canelo right now.

I think an undefeated record means a lot, but it only means as much as people want it to matter.

Fairweather is a supreme talent and would've beaten Pacquiao IMO. But fair or not, the general perception is that Mayweather ducks top competition. You can break down who he fought and when, but that's a tough reputation to overcome when comparing him to the all-time great fighters, even if he is undefeated.

Canelo would be embarrassed by mayweather and goldenboy would never let this fight happen right now

Theyvare going to let floyd fade away and canelo will come into his own around that time with an undefeated record of hand picked fighters.

Canelo is a cash cow and they will ride him until the wheels fall off

They BOTH dodged the fight in a way. Pac didn't like the drug testing demands (which were not the normal drug testing rules, just something may Floyd wanted). And Floyd didn't want to split the purse 50/50.

Both Floyd and Manny were being bitches throughout the whole thing IMO

If the fight used standard boxing drug testing policies and the $$$ was split 50/50 then I believe the fight would have happened. Therefore I put most of the blame on Mayweather for ducking the fight.

However I do not follow boxing closely, so there may be things I missed. Just going by what I know.
