Well there's something to be said for 3 straight LCS appearances.
Surely we'll address the bullpen in the off-season.
I mean if you'd have told me 4 years ago that the next 3 seasons would all be 93+ wins, 3 LCS appearances, and a WS title I'd have been over the moon. I'm a lifelong Cubs fan. The last 3 years have been amazing to watch. I want the win tonight, I want the series, I want another title.... But if it ends tonight I'll still be excited and loving life bleeding cubbie blue!

Yeah I"m not upset with the season at all. You could tell pretty early on this squad didn't have what last year's did.

I'd settle for the level of play we saw consistently in the second half. I know the Dodgers are firing on all cylinders right now, but I don't think it's too much to ask.

Certainly not ready to give up but we have a lot of work to do and so far our bats look a lot like the same this series.
