The new stadium takes any enjoyment out of it. 1 run games over and over again are a beating.

I can't blame the new park. The designer said the deminsions, and orientation was a result of the old bats. To counter them. Then the NCAA went full retard. I don't care what anyone says, people loved the long home runs. That, and pitchers hitting 100 mph is the only reason to watch baseball. I have no clue why they killed their brand.

I do not like how the park has killed offense, but I'm enjoying this CWS. LSU wasn't really good enough to win the title, so I'm not crushed by them losing out, and I've been able to just sit back and enjoy the Series.

I wish there were some more powers there, just so you'd have the contrast of new and old blood, but this has been a fun few days so far.

Nah, he played 3rd in all the games against us

He (Dalbec) pitched the first game of the Super Regional in Starkville winning 1-0.

I do not simply because college baseball isn't entertaining enough to watch if I have no rooting interest, especially in that park.

I am because my son will be playing college ball next year and he has former teammates playing as Freshmen for TCU.

But with TD Ameritrade situated the way it is (homeplate facing directly into the wind), the games now suck.

Wind was out of the East Saturday, Southeast Sunday (TCU hit a giant 3 run HR to left field) North yesterday. If you watch some games you would see some incredible pitching. The field has very little impact on the scoring with the pitching that I have seen. Normally, it is a strong wind out of the South but not this year.

I know the crews at the Hoover Met set the fence deminsions to mirror the new park. I guess the idea is to ready our teams for the tourney.

Rosenblatt sat on top of a hill with the wind blowing straight out almost all of the time. It was a launching pad as bad as Coors Field was until they brought in the humidor.

I am well aware. Been to both. My point is that the pitching this year has had way more of an effect on the scoring than the wind is normally effecting it. The dimensions at TD Ameritrade are within a few feet of Alex Box. The wind was only a factor on right fly balls on Sunday.

I completely agree with that. Last night you had 2 guys taken in the top 10 rounds pitching lights out
