I'm sure they'd score 25 goals on ten shots. Women's soccer is very weak. Women's tennis is outstanding. It just varies by sport.

So you played pick up ball in the UREC. Congrats

If I said I could shoot free throws better than DeAndre Jordan, would that be laughable too?

PKs would be easier IMO, less interference and traffic around the goal. I'd have to say a solid 7 out of 10.

What are the dimensions of a soccer goal?

This is from my perspective bro.

The goal is 20 ft wide, and 8 ft tall. I'm 6'5 with a 74 in wing span. So I think I would do well against a women's soccer team.

In comparison Hope Solo is 5'9 and I'm assuming she is on the larger spectrum of women's soccer goalies

It's not about your measurables, it's about your instincts. That's the trick with goalkeeping. Guarantee you the gals on the USWNT would misdirect your arse out of your cleats. They're not trying to just power it by you. Especially when it comes to PK's.

Irrelevant. We're talking about YOU being a good goalie.

They would smash it low and you wouldn't be able to get down in time. A Joe Blow good athlete would get schooled in the field. It's a lot of skill to the sport. Now sure good men's college soccer players would do well.

I'm thinking the best male goalies in the world may not stop 70% of PKs from the best females.

Accurate.

From that distance, a lot of it is guesswork (and instincts) for the goalie. PKs are more about placement than power, anyway. Obviously, if you can combine perfect placement with good power, that's even better. But, for the most part, if you have perfect placement, you are going to score 9 times out of 10.

Yes, I do. I've played soccer almost my whole life and have been keeper from time to time. The USWNT regularly loses to good men's high school teams. Would I be better than Hope Solo, aka the best women's keeper? I don't know, but I could absolutely start for at least half of the teams at the women's world cup.

I think I could hold my own at any position at the Women's World Cup, especially at LB or LM.

You're fat and slow.

They would embarrass you to the point of impotence.

It's best you just post and hope they don't see this.

The fact that anyone is arguing about PKs is ridiculous. I could score a penalty against fricking Manuel neuer. So could my retarded friend with a wicked toe poke. Just an awful topic of conversation.

But also, major at the dudes who think it is outta the question that someone on this board could hold their own during a game. It's not hard, they are basically a good high school aged club team, which I'm sure a number of people played on.
