I stop talking. Not necessarily stand every time. I also believe people may do what they want. Too many times I’ve seen concessions still moving, people still eating or talking at baseball games. Do I think they hate America? No.

No, but I stand in public, hand over heart, and sing too!

Not one person 10-20 years ago had this thought.

Pretty sure multiple WBB teams weren't on the court for the anthem including USC and UConn from what I heard. Also, pretty much every college football team is in the locker room during the anthem.

The media is obssessed with LSU WBB whether Mulkey is a white supremasists or the team isn't on the court for the anthem.

Was any media in the locker room during the anthem? Maybe they were praying...who knows.

or do you just do it at a Live sporting event so people can see you do it? Why does it even matter?

I’ve been on the minority opinion side of this topic for over 20+ years. I don’t think the national anthem has any business being played at sporting events at any level outside of the Olympics.
Then ok yes … go USA

If I’m in a stadium or arena, yes I do stand and remove my cap out of pure respect. But I would prefer it not be a part of everyday sports or a potential topic like it has become. It makes no sense to me. But I’ve been on this side since pre-9/11. And waaaaay before kneeling started and teams avoiding it. It doesn’t have any relevance to the game whether MLB, NFL, NBA, college sports, high school , down to kids little league and flag football

I was at a HS football game where they played God Bless the USA and a few people stood and tried to get everybody else to stand

Old saying is if yo I stand for nothing you will fall for anything. I guess you have fallen for the whole selfish woke mentality.

I stand when I greet someone too. It’s called respect. If you can’t respect others or symbols of your country you are lost. And it does make a difference to a person if you SHOW respect and standing is one way to do it.

I bet you stand when a home run is hit or a buzzer beater falls in. Why do you do that?

Do yoI stand for a game winning field goal or buzzer beater when you watch the game on TV at home?

Are you saying you DONT stand for the national anthem at a stadium?

Yes, it has no purpose in domestic entertainment. We don't play the National Anthem before movies or other entertainment. It was to make everyone feel better about entertaining themselves while people died overseas.

Yeah it’s a pretty American thing to have the anthem played before every single sporting event. Frankly I don’t care if we play it or not or if someone stands or doesn’t. It only caught on due to hyper nationalism and to fight communism. If you don’t stand then that’s cool but if you want to act like you’re making some big stand against something then you probably need to do more than just sit during the anthem otherwise it’s empty virtue signaling
