Do you see any way the NBA eventually continues this season?

I know a lot of things are up in the air and nobody really knows what course this thing is going to take, but in your personal opinion do you see the NBA trying to continue this season at any point or just scrapping it all together?

I guess the greatest possibility would be for the playoffs to start by June and for the arenas to have no fans/heavy restrictions.

However, this would only give players a ~2 month offseason and that may serve as another reason for the league to just cancel it all together.

Yea. Straight to postseason hopefully to start in July. big Dudley said the players will need 4 weeks to get back into shape. so that pushes the start date back even more.

Test them all first and fly them to Antarctica to play so no one can infect them

There's no way they are back within a month. By May would mean it has 34 days. Absolutely impossible to get the logistics worked out by then

I think they eventually play. I do think it will be without fans though.

Drop the rest of the regular season, go to the playoffs with the seeding as is.

Drop the 1st round of the playoffs as well, the #5-#8 seeds are all absolutely terrible and are useless filler. #1-#4 seeds only.

Yes. Once they have reliable near-instant tests and some quarantine setup at the arenas, they can resume games without fans.

I think they will eventually. Although the regular season is probably over. My guess is mid-June they will go straight to playoffs without any fans in attendance.

Althouhh, they may not be the best playoff series, as many of the players probably going to be out of shape.

thunder disagree.
cp3 is going to show you his best.
mavs disagree.

mavs didnt have both stars for a lot of games.
i would take the mavs and the odds. porzingas was very good toward the end.

having games at neutral site makes it very interesting.

I don't think we'll ever have sports again.
