by everyone i mean magazines, radio, espn. they make him out to be the savior of baseball, this holy guy.. baseball's Jesus if you will. i think that's incredibly naive and there's a greater than 50% chance he's on or has been on some PED.

not many. this thread proves what ive been saying. people are jealous of pujols. he gets brought up more than double anyone else in the "do you think this guy is on roids" threads
actually, i just think he did roids. would I rather him bein the Cubs line-up? of course, he is the best hitter in the game. Do I think he juiced at some point? definitely. jealousy has nothing to do with me thinking that

it has nothing to do with people thinking it but everything to do with them bringing it up every single day while others are never mentioned.

Nah, that's Alex Rodriguez. Pujols is in the NL, we all saw what Manny did to NL pitching last year.

I bring up others all the time, he just happens to be the biggest name (along with Griffey) that people suspect.

A-rod really isn't even my boy, he's too much of a fairy for me to really love him but come on. Pujols doesn't see AL East pitching on a consistent basis.

NL Central pitching isn't too shabby (not counting the astros)

it does matter, if you put alex rodriguez in the national league and he'd light it up. look at what manny did last year when he got to the dodgers. .396 average, 17 home runs, and 53 rbi in not even half a season.

It really doesn't compare to the Red Sox, Rays, and Blue Jays.

pujols is just better.

and manny going lights out had a lot more to do with manny actually trying then it did with nl pitching.

even when manny tried in boston, he didn't do what he did in the NL. and he was ready to do it all over again this year. i'll give you this, pujols hits for average better than alex rodriguez but he's hitting in the 3 hole whereas alex is in the 4.

he hits for a better average because he's a better hitter.

there's two different philosophies when you're hitting 3rd and when you're hitting 4th. if arod didn't have the ego, we'd get to see him hit 3rd.

I covered Albert in Memphis when he played 4 months for the Memphis Redbirds (AAA of the Cardinals)...

Manny being on the roids stunned me. If Albert was/is on the juice I would be shocked. Seriously shocked. Im not best friends with the guy or anything but IMHO the juice is just not in his makeup. It's not who he is and I mean to the core, it's just not him.

that being said I'll probably be proven wrong in a month but until then I know in my heart he is clean. And I dislike the cardinals with every bone in my body
