I think yes!

Disagree? If so, Why?

I'd rank them
1. Saints
2. Pats
3. Rams
4. Chiefs

After losing rankins I'd give the edge to the Rams tbh. Talib being back is huge for them.

Saints easily the best

Rams can be at times but can also be quite horrible at times also. Saints much more consistent

valid points, but the Rams, for the veterans and talent on that roster, look to be confused or out of sync a lot.

The Saints gave up 93 total yards after the Rankins injury FWIW.

I mean I think it’s fair to say this saints team is the greatest team of all time.

Crazy thinking that the freaking SAINTS have the best D left in the playoffs. After decades of only having occasional opportunistic defenses that were average at best in talent.

Other than 2009, maybe, the Saints have been a bad defensive team. Since maybe the Dome patrol.

To be fair, if you only watched the first half of the Saints game last night, you could say the same thing about them.

Gotta say, I was wondering WTF was happening. Looked like week 1 defense, but that INT was HUGE for confidence and momentum.

Interesting, D line still stuffed Eagles rushers after Rankins went out..

Onyemata played a hell of a game..

rams have the best d line
pats have the best secondary

its probably one of those two. the saints didnt get a sack yesterday and they still have eli apple on the field

agreed, but I think if the Rams can't get pressure with Donald/Suh, they are below average at LB and average at DB. Talib is good, but he's got a really tough matchup against Thomas who's playing about as good at his position as just about anyone at any position.

Not without Rankins. Eagles have no running game so couldn't take advantage after he got hurt. Will be much different when Gurley comes to town.

Apple is targeted a lot since Lattimore is across the field, but he's at least physical and athletic. He can matchup at the line but is below average in coverage after the WR releases. It'll be interesting to see him matchup with an undersized and not physical Bradin Cooks. Cooks is a tough cover once in open field, so the contrast and matchup will be something to watch. I assume Lattimore will mostly draw coverage on Woods.

I think the Saints have the best LBs. They've been the best at stopping the run for most of the year. But the defensive line needs to generate more pressure against the Rams because the DBs (other than Lattimore) are definitely suspect, playing better than early in the year, but suspect.
