Yes they did turn it on, it wasn't good enough though to beat GSW though.
I think Lebron was waiting to turn it on. And it WAS good enough, good enough to be noticeably better at basketball than Curry.

if these god players miss shots, they did so bc they were disinterested, no heart, or hurt.

Not bc the other team played great defense. No way that's what caused it

So why is it inconceivable that Lebron was doing the same thing you said Harden was doing, saving it for the playoffs?

When both needed to be their best, Lebron was better than Steph, 2 years in a row.

Lebron was 100% saving himself for the playoffs and I acknowledged it all year when I said they were the team that had the best chance to beat GSW.

Nice troll. Still doesn't answer why Steph didn't win Finals MVP last year.

He was having back issues a few months before the finals. He was healthy for the finals, hence his ridiculous numbers. Should have been finals MVP. I think even you will concede that point.

What's your excuse for Steph not winning Finals MVP last year? He was 100% last year. Just like this year. He wanted to be the reason GSW won the game instead of being a true point guard and feeding his hot teammates ala Klay in game 5 and Green in game 7.

Lots of people thought steph should have been the MVP last season of the finals. I don't see what point you're trying to make tbh.

Look at his numbers in the finals last year. How "bad" he was in the finals last year is greatly exaggerated.

Curry regular season PER: 31.5
Curry playoff PER : 22.3

22.3/31.5 = .71

It was reported that he was at 70% after coming back from the injury it looks like that number was right on the money.

Well calling this series "bad" isn't really fair either, but with respect to his regular season performance, it is way off. Last year he had more turnovers per game and had nearly the same eFG%. The biggest difference is the foul trouble he got in this year. He played 20% more minutes per game last year than he did in this year's Finals, and that explains most of his counting stats like points, rebounds, and assists.
