Well damn that sucks... I don't know how anybody can not like him, he's a world class baseball player.
You can not like the Yankees, but still like him.

Not. Hate the Yankees most of the time and love baseball. Jeter grew up in Kalamazoo, MI, but says he was always a yankees fan.
He's like the kid in grade school who likes the Steelers even though you have the Saints, Vikings, Lions, et al. in your home state. Deep down you can't stand those kids.

Ive been depressed all morning. I fear the yankees will be swept now. Jeter wants it more than anybody, i feel terrible for him.

How can anybody who isn't a Yankees fan like Jeter? Everybody but Yankee fans realize he's never been the best player on his own team, he's rarely if ever been the best player in his own infield yet consistently gets hyped more than anybody else. Not to mention the Gold Gloves which are about as big a joke as there is in baseball.

Derek Jeter had a great regular season, and had an even better postseason. Sucks to see it end so fast. Favorite baseball player ever.

Last night Leyland was a senile count, horrible manager, POS...... A lot of bandwagon fan type sentiments when the team they root for is struggling
