Although that would pay well, it won't pay a million.

IDK...I read that last years paid out $133,000 and I picked SERIOUS longshots. It should be at least 500k if not a million.

I just bet a $12 trifecta box with Brilliant Speed, Dialed In, and Animal Kingdom. I expect to be a millionaire in a few hours!

it'll pay really well with Brilliant Speed being around 30-1 and AK being around 21-1

Dream on. Do you even know how they pay out Trifecta's? Look, a couple hundred thousand would be an amazing score. No way it pays a million or even half. I think a quarter of a million would be max.

Rookie noob gambling question: on the exacta payout grid, are the top post positions the ones you want to finish first and the left post positions second? Also, I am assuming those are off of dollar bets. Correct?

just made an interesting Derby bet based on last year.

$1 trifecta:

2010:
1. Super Saver - Pletcher
2. Ice Box - FL Derby winner, Zito
3. Paddy O'Prado - 2nd in Blue Grass

2011:
1. Stay Thirsty - Pletcher
2. Dialed In - FL Derby winner, Zito
3. Twinspired - 2nd in Blue Grass

I've never bet on the Kentucky Derby before but want to do it just to make the race a little more interesting.

From what I've read it seems that Dialed In, Pants On Fire, & Stay Thirsty are the favorites?

I have bout 10 bucks on my online account left and figured I'd just blow a few before I re-up it.

no idea where you read that but would be a very unlikely outcome.

here's 6 horses i think have the best shot at getting in the money:

Dialed In
ArchArchArch
Soldat
Animal Kingdom
Nehro
Mucho Macho Man
