What are you talking about? USC? Their tradition and infrastructure of alumni and fans?

So now Lloyd Lake was a booster?

The only similarity between USC and Miami and how they're different from LSU and OSU is that rich people who want to schmooze with the beautiful people wouldn't be caught dead in Baton Rouge and Columbus.

That was in the 50s and there was still massive booster support for them despite the death penalty.

The other program involved in that particular scandal, CCNY, closed up shop because they didn't want to be associated with the Mafia, who were running the point-shaving scheme in question.
