Thing is, I know he lied about some stuff. If he didn't lie about being hoaxed, though, I really don't care. That's what I am trying to find our at the end of this: did he make this chick up. If so, I would find it one of the most amazing sports things ever. If not, he's just another liar in my book.

I wouldn't give a frick if it was any school but Notre Dame. The media has created a pedestal for them and refuse to knock them off. Lizzy Seeberg, Declan Sullivan, now this. And forget that be beloved "Rudy" was charged with fraud by the SEC. Notre Dame is full of shite and they need to be knocked a few notches.

If any of the things listed above happened at an SEC school, media perception would be A LOT different. And Manti wouldn't be given a sham off camera interview followed by an ESPN editorial that we should believe him.

And I don't hate Notre Dame. I pulled for them in 88. I just don't think they're "special." And the facts tend to agree.
