David Beckham: Torn between contract and dream job.

David Beckham, who is on loan, is reportedly having trouble finding it in himself to leave Milan and come back to the Galaxy. Cites the MLS as a good "young" league, but he also says it's frustrating to play in with the lower level of competition.
What are your thoughts on this? What would you do?

Let him stay with AC Milan. The MLS transferring players to the Serie A is a good thing.

stay at Milan
he went to the MLS because he was supposed to be washed up. he's not washed up for one of the top leagues and one of the top teams, so he should give it one more run
and i say this as a fairweather AC Milan fan, and i will get angered because this may lead them to selling kaka to man city

Beckham played in 25 games last season and scored 5 goals and 8 assists. For a guy playing in a lesser league, it seems he isn't exactly dominating the league. This is a league in which Brian Ching has 14 goals and 6 assists. Maybe Beckham is upset he couldn't just step in and dominate.

He's scored goals in each of the last two games with Milan. He looks a lot better on that team than he did w/ the Galaxy IMO.
I think it's a no brainer...AC Milan > LA Galaxy

I completely agree. Beckham is a great player, and it's a waste to keep him in the MLS where, sadly, he's a man amongst boys. He's a gimmick for the Galaxy. I respect him as a player, and if it were to make him happier as a person and player, I don't know of many people who could blame him for making the move.
You have to think it was more of him going through the motions knowing he didn't have to play his hardest affecting his play in the MLS.

AC Milan + Beckham - Pato = Il AARP
I'm not sure how much he would contribute as a right winger. At this point in their respective careers, Pirlo is a better set piece kicker and offers more dynamics as a CM.
Back to the age thing, ACM needs more speed, and with guys like Pirlo, Gattuso, Seedorf, Beckham, Ambrosini, Ronaldinho, that area is clearly lacking. The only glaring exception is Kaka.

I bet that goalie was pissed to be beaten near post.

He's wide right of the 6 yrd box and places it top shelf on a dead run with a terrible angle. not bad for a rookie

Milan, no doubt. He fits in Ancelotti's tactics playing behind Kaka and Pato with Pirlo and Seedorf. They do the dirty work while Pato and Kaka run free. They go up, Ronaldinho brings his fat butt on the field and keeps posession (Just kidding!)

i don't think that you can really say that he was ever washed up. he was lights out the spring before his mls transfer, and real madrid tried to keep him on.
@his mls production: having seen him play live (i.e. been able to track his movement through 90 minutes) vs. fc dallas, he is still every bit of a legitimate player. the way he reads the game is incredible, and he definitely stands out on the field.
