Springer's agent threatened to take the Astros to arbitration over not bringing him up.

So? So has 3-4 other prospect's agents.

Just recently as yesterday, Archie Bradley's agent was doing the same thing.

So when you tell everyone you're keeping in the minors for experience at right field but then play him at center, your case really starts to fall apart.

Can't wait!

I honestly think they kept him down to see what these other, also pretty young, players could do. Yes, service time was considered, but they wanted to see what they had. They just couldn't take it any longer....7 players under .200. Seriously? Bring up Correa too.

Holy cap I can't believe he pulled the trigger on springer this early. Open the floodgates and bring in singleton in may.

I honestly don't think he's as far off as his age would indicate

I'm with you CQQ. Correa looks more ready than a lot of our guys.

Now I have nothing more to base that on than his minor league numbers and the spring that he had. But so far, everything points to this kid being on the fast track
