If you sign Edwin i wish Springer could be the #5. Encarnacion is the better hitter of the 2 so I'd prefer he hit up in the lineup if possible

Bregs
Altuve
Correa
Edwin
Springer

But if George does well as leadoff then whatever

I subscribe to "best hitters at the top" so keep Teo at the bottom unless he turns into a star

Yeah, I'm getting excited about OBP Teo. His start is intriguing.

So far, I like the way Teo and Kemp handle the bat.

I would like to see Kemp show bunt and situational hit a little more.

Reed sticks out like a sore thumb in that lineup. He would have been better off starting 1-32 than doing what he's doing, or not doing for that matter.

I don't think there's any way in Hell you can move Bregman from 2 hole in front of Altuve.

I can't help but fantasize about Lucroy on this team. But the cost most certainly would have been pitching, which is something we can't afford. Castro would only have the backup role to Gattis if no moves are made.

I think it's likely they shoot their wad on a frontline starter and settle on a bargain, maybe even in house, DH.

Agrewd. I just feel like the call up is a little late to help us this year. I hope the rust isn't real

Yilou will wear #10. Pettis will now wear #8. May the power of the windmill bring him the long ball

I don't understand the mindset thinking he'll be better than what he was. If you think that, then you're admitting our coaching isn't good enough.

Well, I've been saying since last September that the Asttros need a new hitting coach.

So I do expect Gomez to improve his approach and his stats from his tenure with the Astros. Will it improve to his days with the Brewers? I don't think so. But I won't be surprised if he hits better than .250 the rest of the season with a monster post season. I would love it, actually if he does just enough to get the Rangers to give him a fat 5 yr contract.
