I agree unfortunately. I really would've loved to see them get involved for Lucroy or a stud SP.

Fister's wife close to popping out babies. Musgrove flown to Houston in case Fister cant go tonight. Hasn't been announced who is getting the start, but looks the Astros are short on options due to their long relief guys all being used this weekend (I guess that's what happens when you get your arse kicked).

Beltran and Matt Moore are the only two non relievers who interest me. I don't understand why we would pass on a LOOGY but whatever

One baseball writer tweeted that he expects the Astros to be involved in anything big happening today.

Sale is still under contract for 2017, 2018, and 2019... I think that would be a big score.
Plus I imagine it won't be too long until Gourriel is ready to play 3B in the majors.

Pair Sale with LMJ and Keuchel just needs to be a middle rotation starter then. Would be a pretty formidable rotation for the next 3 years.
ETA: Only thing is that we have the 2nd best ERA in the AL, what does adding Sale REALLY provide.
On the other hand, if Bregman produces, then maybe you go from middle of the pack offense to top 3
