Didi hits a warning track dying bird. Why? Because he's named Didi. Which is a womans name. Although I'll give him Gregorious is a pretty awesome last name.

I hope they don't rush him. The earliest I'd like to see him is somewhere between the all star or September call ups next year.... and that's only if he gets moved up to AA within a week or two and finishes the season out mashing and then makes a strong case to start out AAA next year... I just don't see the point in rushing him.

They wouldn't rush. He crushed last year, he's crushing this year, he'll crush the rest of this year and then the first three months of next year before being called up -- which is the right time for him to be called up.

He's a superior talent and the Astros current shortstops are shite. He'd be an upgrade over all of them right now.

Either swing or don't Presley. Don't try to stop your swing more than halfway through it.

Is this how America feels about the Astros? I have no idea who most of the dbacks are.

That's how most "casual" baseball fans are. They know their own team, but not the entire league -- and who can blame them? 40-man rosters, 30 teams ... Who knows Corey Dickerson or Lonnie Chisenhall? Or Charlie "Ground Chuck" Morton? That's your stars of the night.

Scott Van Slyke ...

More people will know Chisenhall after tonight

Well, let's see how Sipp fairs in the outfield. A hard hit ball his way could turn out really really poorly for the Astros.

I went and cleaned my kitchen between innings, I come back and Jerome Williams is pitching the 8th inning of a 1 run game, walks a man and Tony Sipp comes running back in from the outfield.

Bo ball at it finest. You can't explain it....it just is.

ETA: oh and Marwin is in the outfield now.

The only time I remember actually seeing something like that was when LSU played Baylor in a super regional. Either Smoke or Skip (Don't remember who it was at that point) put Jason Detterman on first base after pitching, for an entire inning and then put him back on the mound.

I gotta believe he is on his way out. I think they are just trying to see if he can put up a few decent outings, just in case they can flip him for some bubble gum or sunflower seeds.

hell, i'd take a used rosen bag at this point.

Sipp went into RF for Pressley so that Jerome Williams could walk a batter. Then came back to SO the next man. Now leaving for Farnsworth.

Bo was playing matchups. Sipp came out and was replaced by Jerome. Sipp replaced Grossman in right. Jerome pitched to one batter, walked him. Sipp came back in to pitch and Marwin went in and played right.

I missed the first out...I'm assuming Sipp got the first out. Bo brings in Williams to face Goldschmit but wants to save Sipp because a lefty follows Goldschmit. So he moves Tony Sipp to RF, Presley to left, puts on an extreme pull shift during PG's at bat (4 infielders on the left side), Williams walks PG (making everything irrelevant). Bo takes out Williams, brings Sipp back to the mound, moves Presley back to RF and inserts Marwin in left.
