Never thought I'd get sick of watching Carlos Correa bat but here we are. Dude is just trash at the plate the last month or so. Constantly checks out of the game during the first pitch so he's always in an 0-1 count. Chases garbage in the dirt to K non stop.

He's had at least 3 hard line drive outs in this series alone. Plus, he's 21.

BABIP aside, the guy is swinging and missing an awful lot for an all edged above average contact hitter.

The kid is. He's a kid. There's no doubt in my mind he'll be fine.

I'll also say this again. Carlos has no protection in the lineup. Cold streak Rasmus has not helped him.

Your boy Chris Carter leads the majors with 35Ks in May. Correa has 30. I'd say that's a problem.

In the last month (30 games) he's striking out at 30%. During that stretch he's got 27 hits to 40 strikeouts. .231 average.

He's struggling a bit. Not going to worry about it for at least another month. I would suggest that the Brian Kenny suggestion to move Altuve behind him may be the solution - until AJ Reed is established as clean up hitter.

White's approach is getting back to being good. Results not there yet.

86 pitches without an out in the 5th inning. Really don't need him walking the 9 hole hitter there.

Walking a bunch of dudes who also strike out a lot ain't going to get you too deep into a game, that's for sure.

And shitty umpires behind the plate who consistently change games with their incompetence doesn't help either.
