What a freaking bummer by JP and Isaac
I like the thought by JP ambushing in zone fastball but he’s just not able to get the head out in time on stuff running in on him.
I’ve been hard on Isaac, and he’s been fine lately but really need him to step up and be a run producer for a week or two

Peña just shite and fell back in it.

For whatever it’s worth, looks like will only need two innings out of the bullpen. That first inning was Mr. Motherfricker.

Cannot reiterate enough about how much I hope this is Alexander’s last appearance with the big club.
BUT, major tip of the hat for eating 5 quality innings after that blowup. Astros were one big swing away from the top of the lineup from really being in this game. That was absolutely massive for the bullpen to only have to cover 2 innings in a game they were down 8-0 without getting out of the first. Hopefully he can cash some more checks somewhere else in the league.
Pena can frick off with this approach. Every pitcher should throw him something inside until he shows he can get a barrel to it.

For sure…Costanza wore it and did well doing it. Had a chance with the bases juiced and just couldn’t capitalize.
This is where they should use Abreu.

I think Salazar is a worse hitter than maldonado

I think all the stats back this up. But, at least it’s not Yainer.

Damn, that guy can rake.

When he’s dialed there’s not many that play this game that are more fun to watch.

Like to see more of that from Cam

Making it interesting again.
They have to burn their closer with an up/down and he’s not even fully hot. Credit to the offense (outside of JP) for grinding it out today
Well I can remove outside of JP and insert outside of Isaac now

Nah you had it right. One swing doesn’t negate his shitty approach the rest of the night. If he’d been better earlier, that homer might’ve actually meant something.

Are we coming up for air any time soon or are we staying down here for a bit longer?
Posted on 5/27/26 at 9:48 am to DalenSA
Was coming here to ask the same. Unlikely to top the combined no-no, but it was certainly apropos for the 1st inning after that to be an absolute sewer filling shite fest.

My sportsbook had a parlay boost promotion, so I played it last night.
$5 max
Won't bore you with all the deets, but the last 2 things I needed were a hit from Jung (which I got bot 8), and a hit from Pena, which he got top 9.

I thought the rule of thumb was to start a new one after the sewer winning streak was over.
Hell yea that's a pretty good late game hit in an already decided game

Nick Allen has a breakout game against the Cubs and Joe rewards him by letting him ride the bench?

The elders have decided to defer starting a new DAT until after this Burrows start.
