Keuchel is a damn walk machine so far this year. Almost 1 per inning.

I know the 2013 Astros played uglier games but this one has got to rank near the top for clunkers. 6 walks from your ace, multiple baserunning mistakes, errors. I mean good grief.

Nelson pitching well while our runners and the ump are helping him out. The dumpy turd just fist pumped. Grr.

Our pitch selection is horrible today. Swing at balls all day long.

Springer is a fricking wreck right now. He's had a metric frick ton of check swing strikes lately.

He's also pulling off and swinging too hard

Any time you see George taking those giant donkey hacks, he's almost certainly struggling. He doesn't take those horribly cuts when he's on.

Keuchel has been almost horrible today. He must not be feeling 100%. Almost as many balls as strikes.

Luhnow's fake disaster was the Aiken thing.

His real disaster may be the Gomez/Fiers trade.

So basically at this point we gave up too much to get very little. Fires has been ok but Gomez. Significantly underperformed.

But the footnote should be that I think Crane really pushed for a big deal. I hope that's the case so that this owner has learned a lesson never to be repeated. If not, let's hope the GM has learned.

The only saving grace is that he only gave up 2 runs and nearly got us through 6 innings. Thats a huge feat from a starting pitcher lately.
